Rockport Police beat: Drug possession, speeding, insurance and inspection violations
ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity April 12-21. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
April 12
Gustaf Aprans, 31, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for failure to register motor vehicle 30-150 days.
Lidia Powell, 26, of Portland, was issued a summons by Shaw for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
Calvin Allen, 20, of South Thomaston, was issued a summons by Shaw for possession of schedule Z drugs.
April 14
Justin Myrick, 29, of Owls Head, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for operating after suspension; inspection violation.
Maxwell Niles, 22, of Union, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.
Joel Michaud, 66, of Cushing, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.
Robert Achorn, 64, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to obey traffic control.
April 15
Owen Sterrs, 21, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to register motor vehicle more than 150 days; insurance violation.
Kathy Wallace, 66, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Smith for insurance violation.
Faith Whitsit, 27, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation; operating after suspension.
April 17
Brandon Boucher, 23, of Whitefield, was issued a summons by Shaw for insurance violation.
April 18
Stephen Smith, 20, of Hope, was issued a summons by Shaw for speeding 70 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour speed zone.
April 19
Anna Sideris, 32, of Camden, was issued a summons by Smith for insurance violation; failure to register motor vehicle more than 150 days.
April 21
Brianne Fuller, 37, of Cambridge, Mass., was issued a summons by Smith for operating an unregistered vehicle more than 150 days.
