Single-vehicle Rockland crash sends driver to the hospital

ROCKLAND — A single-vehicle car crash on Sunday, March 6, around 8 p.m., in Rockland sent one person to the hospital.
According to Rockland Police Chief Bruce Boucher, Caleb Jacob, 18, crashed his vehicle after he went into a ditch on the side of Route 17. Boucher said that the accident report has not been filed by police yet so further details are not available as this time.
Jacob was transported by Rockland EMS to Pen Bay Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to Rockland Interim Fire Chief Adam Miceli.
Rockland Police, Rockland Fire and EMS all responded to the crash.
