Carol Rackliff, obituary
Carol Rackliff, 48, died peacefully Feb. 20, 2016, at the Sussman House, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous fight with breast cancer.
Carol will be remembered for her large heart and caring spirit as she always put family first and her children were her top priority. Carol gave back to the community by donating her time to be a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout leader and was a member of Project Graduation for both of her children. In her spare time, Carol was an avid reader and loved spending summer days at the Rackliff family cottage relaxing and enjoying time with family.
Carol was a proud stakeholder of Camden National Bank for more than 20 years and enjoyed her many positions, people she worked with and the relationships she developed. For those who worked with her, she was a ball of fire that took on any challenge, was a tenacious problem solver and was always willing to go out of her way to help her customers.
In the last few months of her life Carol was able to make lasting memories with her family, including going to Walt Disney World with her husband, sister, children and granddaughter, and she was able to see her son get married before she passed. She was loved and will be missed greatly.
Carol is survived by her husband, Brett Rackliff; her son, Kyle Rolerson and his wife, Kaitlyn Rolerson; her granddaughters, Zoe Dalpini and Saylor Rolerson; her daughter, Alyssa Rolerson; her sister, Makaila Hickey; her parents, Lee and Dawne Hickey; her in-laws, Doug and Lynda Rackliff; her brother, Darren Hickey and his wife, Sarah, and their two children, Cora and Hazel; and other loving family members.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 12 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Rockport Masonic Hall. All are welcome.
