Police search for man who robbed Camden National Bank in Randolph, Oct. 31
At 1:47 p.m., Oct. 31, the Maine State Police responded to a robbery of a Camden National Bank located in the Goggins IGA grocery store in Randolph. The suspect, an unarmed white male, was dressed in a dark jacket with baseball cap, hood, and sun glasses, police said, in a news release.
The man produced a note demanding money and which also said that he was in possession of a gun, although it was never displayed, police said. The male left with money and was last seen getting into a white four-door vehicle heading toward Gardiner on Water Street.
None of the bank employees were harmed during this event. Deputies from the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene along with Gardiner Police and the Maine Forest Service.
