Bereavement Group begins Nov. 17
ROCKLAND — Coastal Family Hospice Volunteers is forming an eight-week peer support group for anyone experiencing the loss of a loved one. The group is open to the community at large, as well as to families of hospice patients.
Because of increased interest and need, this is the sixth such group in 2015. The holiday season can be a very tough time, and this particular series is designed to carry people through the holidays and help ease them into the new year. Many find that gathering together in this way can be helpful and healing.
The support group, facilitated by Rob Gabe and Barbara Spalding, will meet in Rockland (location to be announced) from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, Nov. 17 through Jan. 5. There is no charge for participation, but pre-registration is required. For more information, or to register, contact Rob at 354-6395 or Barbara at 236-3056.
Coastal Family Hospice works with Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care and Hospice to provide volunteer support for its hospice patients and families in Knox and Lincoln Counties.
