MATINICUS - On the afternoon of June 26, 2015, Richard C. “Rick” Kohls Jr. passed away at his home on Matinicus Island. Rick was 56 years old.
A celebration of Rick's life will be held Thursday, Oct. 1 at noon on Matinicus Island. Transportation aboard Sunbeam V will leave the Rockland Ferry Terminal at 9:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunbeam V, c/o Maine Sea Coast Mission, 127 West Street, Bar Harbor, ME 04609.
Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home.
