Camden Select Board to hold public hearings on LifeFlight-FAME bond application and zoning amendments, discuss C-RMS public survey proposal
CAMDEN — The Camden Select Board will begin its regular meeting Tuesday night with a public hearing regarding Camden-based LifeFlight of Maine's request for assistance and support in securing new equipment bond financing from the Financing Authority of Maine.
LifeFlight of Maine is seeking $2,250,000 to provide financing to purchase and equip a King Air B200 Aircraft.
If approved, the agreement does not obligate the town or saddle it with any debt, but rather sets the town up to act in a fiduciary capacity with LifeFlight of Maine.
The April 7 meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Washington Street Conference Room. It is also broadcast live on Time Warner channel 22, and streamed live at townhallstreams.com/locations.camden-me
In addition to a report from the Megunticook Watershed Association, the Select Board will hear about the upcoming fourth annual Business Is Blooming Community Celebration (May 14-17) and a request by West Bay Rotary to have access to and use the Megunticook Rover and upper harbor to hold a Duck Derby (May 23).

The agenda includes public hearing on liquor license renewals for 40 Paper, Camden Deli and Atlantica, as well as approval of a taxicab business license for Schooner Bay Taxi operator Christopher M Merritt.
