Runners, babies and dogs make Rockport Library’s Donut Dash a sweet run

The Friends of the Rockport Public Library’s Donut Dash 5K Family Fun Run/Walk was held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, June 14. For a third year in a row, the event took place in cool and misty weather — conditions that participants claimed were “perfect for running.” The race was run by 214 people, with a few dogs and babies in strollers mixed in.
The overall male and female winners of the race were Sam Tooley, 17, with a time of 16:57 and Isabella Anderson, 18, with a time of 20:14. The following are the male, female, and nonbinary winners from each age group.
Times for all participants can be found by visiting the Rockport Public Library’s Facebook page or website homepage, rockportlibrary.net.
