'Object Narrative' solo exhibit by Camden artist Colin Page
CAMDEN — Page Gallery presents Object Narrative, a solo exhibition of still life paintings from Camden artist Colin Page. The exhibition will open with a public reception during the Camden Art Walk on Thursday, June 19, from 5 - 7 p.m., and will be on display through July 11.
Page will talk about his work and sign his new book, Object Narrative, on Sunday, June 29, at 1 p.m., at Page Gallery, 23 Bay View Street, Camden.
"Colin's solo exhibition and release of his debut book are a celebration of still life paintings that invites viewers to pause, look closely, and find wonder in the ordinary," said Page Gallery, in a news release.
These events are free and open to the public.
"Colin Page plays within the bounds of value to use an abundance of color," said the gallery. "Whether working on location or in the studio, Colin strives to capture the atmosphere and light of a scene. His gestural paintings, the energy of his color and brushstrokes, emphasize and convey the joy and urgency of a vibrant and full life."
