Winter storm closes Maine State offices Thursday; closes, delays Knox County organizations
The storm arriving this evening and continuing through Friday is expected to bring significant snowfall to most of the state. The National Weather Service has forecast that southern and western Maine could see up to a foot of snow, with areas of eastern Maine and western Maine seeing as much as seven inches. Major sleet accumulation is also expected in parts of the state. The weather is expected to impact visibility and road conditions during Thursday morning and evening commutes.
Also affected by the storm:
-The Knox County Administrative Offices, Knox County Superior Court, and Rockland District Court will all be closed Thursday, February 23, 2023 due to the weather. They will all re-open on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 8 a.m.
-Rockland City Offices will open at 10 a.m. Thursday.
-Warren Town Office will open at 12 noon Thursday due to the weather.
