Woman arrested for stealing drugs while on probation
ROCKLAND — A Waldoboro woman who was arrested for allegedly stealing drugs was ordered held without bail by Judge Susan Sparaco at her court appearance Feb. 10 pending a hearing to revoke her probation.
Viktoria Robinson, 31, of Waldoboro, was currently on probation for a conviction of theft and criminal trespassing from February 2015 when she was sentenced to a year in jail with all but 21 days suspended and one year of probation. Currently, Robinson is charged with another theft that allegedly occurred while she was on probation, along with failing to report to her probation officer the past two months, according to court documents.
Thomaston Police Officer Michael Blais charged Robinson Feb. 4 with allegedly stealing drugs after a woman reported to police that she stole some of her prescription medication, Clonazepam.
According to the police report filed by Blais, the victim had identified Robinson as the only other person at the residence who had access to the medication. The victim told police that she was a friend of Robinson and let her stay with her for a few days because she felt sorry for her. After the victim noticed the missing pills, she confronted Robinson who confessed to taking the medication while she was in the shower. The victim told police she recovered 13 pills, but was still missing 20 pills. Robinson said she only took 10 pills and did not know where the other medication was, said the report.
Robinson is currently being held at Knox County Jail in Rockland until her hearing Feb. 19.
