A winning photo for Belfast’s annual municipal report

The City of Belfast thanked all who participated in the 2023 City of Belfast Annual Report Cover Photo Contest, and announced Dec. 14 that this year’s winner is Bob Alder for his image, “Dancing in the Street.”
“We received many thoughtful, beautiful photographs this year from residents of Belfast, Mainers, and visitors from out of state,” the city said. “It was such fun to be on the receiving end and to have the opportunity to admire the work of so many talented photographers, both experienced and new.”
Alder captured the special moment on Main Street in Belfast.
