Wednesday morning power outage in Rockport attributed to failed insulator

ROCKPORT — Central Maine Power said Dec. 27 that the short power outage that affected approximately 522 customers on Rockport this morning was due to a failed insulator, most likely caused by the Dec. 18 storm after-effects on equipment.
CMP has 2,707 customers in Rockport.
Power has been restored.
