Waldoboro Police beat: Truancy, stolen laptop, trespassing
WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 100 calls for service from April 10-18. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
April 11
Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report from a citizen of unwanted people on his property.
Kyle McCarthy, 22, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Thomas Bartunek for domestic assault.
April 12
Amanda Emerson, 34, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Spear for habitually truant student.
April 14
Joseph Maye, 49, of Warren, was issued a summons by Officer Larry Hesseltine for speeding.
Hesseltine is investigating a report from a citizen of a stolen laptop valued at $500.
April 16
Fuller is investigating a report from a citizen of a stolen furnace motor from his residence.
Fuller is investigating a report from Maritime Farms of a $5.76 gasoline drive off.
April 18
Fuller is investigating a report from a citizen of another broken window in her house.
