BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Jan. 18-26.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

Jan. 19

Jeffrey M. Smith, 46, of Troy, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Troy Hill Road in Troy. 

Jan. 21

Dakota D. Bowen, 31, of Albion, was issued summonses for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and negotiating a worthless instrument on Belfast/Augusta Road in Liberty, stemming from an incident Dec. 28.

Jan. 24

Christopher Munoz, 31, of Lewiston, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Belmont Ave.
