Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity March 27 - April 6.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
March 27
Daniel Therrien, 37, of Belfast, was arrested for unlawful trafficking of a scheduled drug and violating a condition of release on Garden Way in Belfast.
March 30
Marc A. Pomeroy, 19, of Thorndike, was issued a summons for operating with suspended registration in Montville.
Adam D. Carnahan, 46, of Troy, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on School Street in Unity, stemming from an incident March 4.
March 31
Wai K. Lam, 61, of Rockland, was issued a summons for theft on School Street in Unity, stemming from an incident Feb. 21.
April 1
John M. Robbins Jr., 67, of South Portland, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating without a license on Hostile Valley Road in Palermo.
April 2
Andrew F. Risposta, 39, of Stockton Springs, was issued a summons for leaving the scene of an accident on Harris Road in Stockton Springs, stemming from an incident April 1.
Shawn McAvoy, 30, of Prospect, was issued summonses for unlawful possession of drugs and violating a condition of release on Clark Road in Prospect, stemming from an incident March 17.
