Updated: Murray the dog reunited with his family...
WASHINGTON — The owners of Murray, a mixed hound breed dog, spent Monday afternoon and evening wandering around Steele Lane in Washington trying to find him after he bolted out of their car.
Good news: Murray was located around 7 p.m., after a neighbor on Washington Reservoir found him and took him in.
“ Thanks to so many for all of your help....“ said Murray’s owner.
WASHINGTON (Sept. 21, 4:28 p.m.) — The owners of Murray are wandering around Steele Lane in Washington Monday afternoon, trying to find him after he bolted out of their car.
Murray is a mixed hound breed, and from his photo he is multi-colored brown, black and white with the facial markings of a Bernese mountain dog but short hair. He is described as very friendly, and likely to go up to anyone who sees him. He weighs about 50 pounds.
Murray was last seen by his owner at a family camp on Steele Road around 3 p.m. He is wearing a a green collar with fish on it, but has no tags.
