BUCKSPORT — A suspect in the March 23 robbery of the Belfast Circle K convenience store, located on Northport Ave., has been arrested.

Kristen Herbest, 23, of Bucksport, was arrested after being identified as a suspect in the robbery, which took place in the early morning hours, according to a March 24, media release from Belfast Police Chief Robert Cormier. 

Herbest is allegedly the person seen in surveillance footage that was released to the public yesterday; police executed a search warrant on State Route 46 in Bucksport today. 

Officers executed the warrant today, following a “culmination of tips and information gathered,” Cormier wrote. 

Herbest has been charged with robbery and is scheduled to be arraigned in Waldo County Unified Court May 12.
