The snow is piling up, following a three-week dearth of winter, and vehicles are slipping and sliding all over Knox County. The National Weather Service is predicting 6 to 10 inches of snow, and the plow guys, as well as local law enforcement, are busy.
Due to the winter storm, the Knox County Administrative Offices, Knox County Superior Court, and Rockland District Court closed at 2 p.m.
The Hope Town Office will be closing at 2:30 p.m. today due to inclement weather.
Due to the inclement weather, Camden National Bank locations will close early as follows: Machias and Calais at 2:30 p.m., all other Downeast locations at 3 p.m., and all remaining locations at 4 p.m.
The Owls Head Transportation Museum will be closed at 2:00 p.m. today due to inclement weather.
