Rockport Police beat: Passing in a no pass zone, operating after suspension
ROCKPORT – Rockport police reported the following activity Oct. 7-12. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Oct. 7
Mark J. Tootill, 59, of South Thomaston, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for speeding 70 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Lorraine H. James, 43, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.
Oct. 8
Barbara J. Crouchly, 70, of Newport R.I., was issued a summons by Officer Cooper Plaisted for passing in a no pass zone.
Leanne Englander, 66, of Laguna Beach, Calif., was issued a summons by Plaisted for speeding 39 mph in a 30 mph zone.
Oct. 9
Sasha D. Grotton, 25, of South Thomaston, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to register a motor vehicle 30-150 days.
Tiffany Whitney, 26, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection and insurance violations.
Oct. 10
Kenneth Corson, 43, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Officer James Moore for operating without a license.
Oct. 11
Wesley Herrick, 35, of Camden, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.
Andrew Haviland, 27, of Topsham, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation; insurance violation; failure to register motor vehicle 30-150 days.
Dennis Carey, 62, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons by Sgt. Travis Ford for failure to register a motor vehicle 30-150 days.
Douglas French, 47, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection violation.
Matthew Weil, 32, of Biddeford, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection violation.
Oct. 12
Janet Heath, 49, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Smith for operating with suspended registration.
Jake W. Wooster, 23, of Morrill, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.
