Rockport Police beat: Criminal trespass, speeding, domestic violence assault
ROCKPORT – Rockport police reported the following activity Sept. 29-Oct. 6. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Aug. 16 (late entries)
Espen McQuartters, 20, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Jim Moore for illegal possession of liquor by a minor; use of drug paraphernalia.
Charles Strauss, 24, of East River, Wis., was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for criminal trespass.
Sept. 29
Alexander Blackington, 21, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for seat belt and insurance violations.
Sept. 30
Dawn Dyer, 43, of Vinalhaven, was issued a summons by Officer Cooper Plaisted for assault.
Tori Amborn, 38, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Plaisted for domestic violence assault.
Oct. 1
Ingrid Warren, 74, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Craig Cooley for speeding 25 mph in a 15 mph zone.
Oct. 2
Thomas Wriggins, 47, of Nobleboro, was issued a summons by Cooley for inspection violation.
Linette Crockett, 51, of Camden, was issued a summons by Cooley for speeding 51 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Jason Turnbull, 42, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Cooley for inspection violation.
Peter McDonald, 41, of Belgrade, was issued a summons by Cooley for inspection violation.
Amelia Sisco, 35, of St. George, was issued a summons by Cooley for speeding 44 mph in a 15 mph zone.
John Staha, 46, of Austin, Tex., was issued a summons by Plaisted for operating vehicle without lights after dark.
Christine Alberi, 40, of Hope, was issued a summons by Moore for failure to register motor vehicle 30-150 days; inspection violation.
Cheryl Dugan-Higley, 66, of Appleton, was issued a summons by Cooley for speeding 57 mph in 35 mph zone.
Oct. 4
Stacy Brown, 39, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Sgt. Travis Ford for insurance violation.
Heather Gibson, 31, of Jefferson, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection violation.
Kurt Shann, 23, of Corinna, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to register motor vehicle 30-150 days.
Oct. 6
Maxey Hannon, 33, of Union, was issued a summons by Moore for improper pass.
