ROCKPORT – Rockport police reported the following activity Sept. 1-7. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

Sept. 1

Daniel Mills, 32, of Union, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for towing an unregistered vehicle.

Sept. 2

Matthew LaFountain, 31, of Ellsworth, was issued a summons by Smith for violation of protection order.

Samuel Monroe, 27, of Hope, was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Shane Verge, 26, of Cushing, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.

Levi Brogna, 26, of Green, was issued a summons by Officer Cooper Plaisted for seat belt violation.

Sept. 3

Breana Peirce, 24, of Camden, was issued a summons by Officer Craig Cooley for speeding 46 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Patricia Renn, 82, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Cooley for speeding 49 mph in a 30 mph zone.

Delores Essency, 60, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Cooley for speeding 70 mph in a 55 mph.

Michael Tucker, 24, of South Thomaston, was issued a summons by Cooley for speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone.   

Sept. 4 

Jody Ann McKee, 58, of Cushing, was issued a summons by Cooley for speeding 52 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Zachary Peterson, 25, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Officer Cooper Plaisted for inspection violation.

Hildred Emerson, 79, of Belmont, was issued a summons by Plaisted for operating on left while passing so as to interfere with vehicle.

Tara Ortiz, 44, was issued a summons by Plaisted for inspection violation.

Charles Taylor, 39, of Somerville, was issued a summons by Plaisted for inspection violation.                                                                                                                                                                     

Sept. 5

Shayne Elwell, 28, of Rockport, was arrested by Smith on a warrant.

Ekaterina Burkivikova, 34, of Eliot, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to register a motor vehicle 30-150 days.

Sept. 6

Craig Knowlton, 30, of Hope, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.

Hollis Cole, 50, of Cambridge, Mass., was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.

Frederick Campbell, 56, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.

Matthew DuFour, 27, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to register a motor vehicle more than 150 days.

Rosalie Sullivan, 31, of Orono, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to register a motor vehicle more than 150 days.

Sharon Osborne, 76, of Union, was issued a summons by Shaw for seatbelt violatioin.

John Gordon, 21, of East Boothbay, was issued a summons by Shaw for seatbelt violation.

Sept. 7

Thomas Moore, 30, of Rockland, was arrested by Smith on a warrant.

Logan Smith, 22, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Smith for a seat belt violation.

Teresa Blanchard, 34, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to stop at a stop light.

Philip Pratt, 27, of Owls Head, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.

Mary Merrow, 83, of Hartland, was issued a summons by Smith for speeding 69 mph in a 45 mph zone.

Jonas Sabins, 32, of Warren, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension; failure to register a motor vehicle more than 150 days; violations of condtions of release.

William Robbins, 48, of Searsport, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.
