Rockport Police beat: Arrest warrants, improper passing, operating after suspension
ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity Jan. 7-15. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Jan. 7
Ari Meil, 40, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Sgt. Travis Ford for inspection violation.
Jan. 10
George E. Jacobs, 81, of Hope, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Taylor for operation without a license in violation of constrictions and restrictions.
Jan. 11
James McAllian, 40, of Belfast, was arrested by Officer Dana Smith on two warrants.
Patricia J. Benner, 59, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Taylor for operating after suspension.
Jan. 12
George A. Hess, 77, of Auburn, was issued a summons by Taylor for improper passing.
Chad Delano, 45, of Rockland, was charged by Smith for felony theft, violating conditions of release.
Jan. 13
Cameron Dana, 20, of Owls Head, was arrested by Smith on a warrant.
Jan. 14
Timothy A. Taylor, 29, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to have insurance bond, inspection violation.
Niomi R. Ecker, 26, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.
Neil D. Wood, 71, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Taylor for speeding 55 mph in a 35 mph zone.
Jan. 15
Vaughn E. Murphy, 52, of Warren, was issued a summons by Smith for operating with an expired license in a period of fewer than 90 days.
