Nomination papers available March 1 - 12 for municipal, school seats in Hope
HOPE — June elections are not far off, and now is the time for prospective candidates to gather signatures to be on the municipal and school committee ballot. Municipal elections will take place June 11 at the Hope Town Office, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Annual Town Meeting will be June 13.
In Hope, nomination papers will be available to pick up from the Town Office March 1 through March 12.
The following seats will be open for those seeking office:
One three-year seat on the Select Board, currently occupied by Michael Brown.
Two three-year seats on the Budget Committee, currently occupied by Brian Powers and John Jensen.
One one-year seat on the Budget Committee, currently vacant.
Two three-year seats on the Hope School Committee, currently occupied by Emily Burgess and Timothy Lock.
