TROY — Lloyd M. Witham Jr., 60, passed away with his family by his side on August 24, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer.

Lloyd was born on April 9, 1963, in Waterville, Maine to Lloyd M. and Isebella Louise (Meunier) Witham, Sr.

Lloyd graduated from Skowhegan High School in 1982 and enlisted in the US Marines in 1983, where he was honorably discharged in 1986.

Lloyd was always a hard worker but especially enjoyed his time with Fabian Oil for the last 3 years as an Oil Burner Technician.

In his free time, Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cherished the time spent at camp playing cards and games, family reunions, but particularly he loved four-wheeling with the family. Lloyd was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Boston Red Sox fan.

Lloyd was predeceased by his father, Lloyd M Witham, Sr., and his baby brother, Craig Michael Witham.

He is survived by his mother, Isebella Louise Witham of Norridgewock; his fiancé, Cindy Beckett of Troy; his sisters, Vicki Boynton and Michelle Witham of Norridgewock; his sons, Craig Witham and partner, Jennifer Welch of Channelview, Texas, and Cory Witham and wife Megan of Orange, Texas; as well as his nephew Zachary Witham and his children, Emma, Zoe and Bo of Skowhegan; his stepchildren, Alicia Roy and husband Jerrett of Troy, Charlie Beckett and his partner, Theresa; his grandchildren, Christopher Roy and Lysa Beckett of Troy, who will forever hold a special place in his heart and his four grandchildren from Orange, Texas, Layne, Kaleigh, Liliana and Trent; also, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and co-workers.

Lloyd will be greatly and sadly missed by his family, whose lives will never be the same without him.

There will be a celebration of life for Lloyd on October 1, 2023, from 12 to 4 p.m., at Troy Central School, 733 Bangor Road, Troy, Maine 04987.

Lloyd will be interred at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mount Vernon Rd., Augusta, Maine with a private ceremony with immediate family.
