Lincolnville has ideas about improving Route 1, wants to talk with Camden about them
LINCOLNVILLE — Selectmen will convene Oct. 13 at 5 p.m. at the town office to talk behind closed doors about the possible acquisition of property. This executive session precedes another meeting behind closed doors at 5:30 p.m., to consider property tax abatement applications that have arrived.
Then, the selectmen will open the doors on a regularly scheduled meeting at approximately 6 p.m. to hear from the Recreation Commission about activities at Breezemere Park, the ball fields, and future ideas for the town concerning recreation.
The board will also discuss parking regulations at Lincolnville Beach and hold a public hearing about proposed amendment to the current parking ordinance.
And, the selectmen will consider a draft letter from the town of Lincolnville to the Camden Select Board about possible Route 1 improvements, as well as opening a dialog between the two towns about that stretch of shared highway.
