Lillian McMahon, obituary
CAMDEN — Lillian Eaton McMahon, 104, formerly of Union, died peacefully on March 9, 2016, at Quarry Hill in Camden, where she had resided for eight years. Lillian was born May 21, 1911, in Deer Isle, the daughter of Goodwin and Elizabeth (Synder) Eaton.
Lillian was an avid reader, reading anything she could about Deer Isle. She also loved to garden, cook and spend time with her family.
Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Melvin McMahon; and by her daughter, Jean Brown of Arizona.
Lillian is survived by her daughters, Patricia Whalen of Florida and Sandra Upham and her husband, John, of Appleton; her son, Brian McMahon and his wife, Jennifer, of Union and Florida; and 11 grandchildren and their families.
A graveside service to celebrate Lillian's life will be held in the spring at Lakeview Cemetery in Union and will be announced.
