Knox County Retired Educators Association works with Prescott School for caring project

Prescott Memorial School students and principal with several members of Knox County Retired Educators Association as school supplies and playground equipment were presented to the school.

Each Fall, the Knox County Retired Educators Association selects a local school with which to do a Day of Caring Project. The school selected this year was Prescott Memorial School in Washington. Working with staff and students, grades K-6, the goal was to update their playground equipment with items such as new basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, and jump ropes. Members of KCREA also brought various school supplies to their September meeting which were given to the school.
