ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from March 7-11. The Unified Criminal Court is a system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.

Troy Hudson Crane, 52, of St. George, operating under the influence, $500.00 fine, 48 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.

Michael Hanson, 31, of Whitefield, engaging in activities while suspended, $750.00 fine.

Ryan V. Blastow, 33, of Warren, operating under the influence-no test, one prior, dismissed; driving to endanger, $1000.00 fine, license suspended 30 days.

Sheldon W. Curtis, 29, of Rockport, domestic violence criminal threateing, three years in jail with all but seven months suspended, probation two years; domestic violence reckless conduct, three years in jail with all but seven months suspended, probation two years; domestic violence assault, seven months in jail.

Cheryl M. Byrd, 54, of Union, hindering apprehension or prosecution, $250.00 fine.

Tiona R. Brown, 22, of Bronx, N.Y., assault, $300.00 fine, seven days in jail.

Briannah N. Parlin, 24, of South Thomaston, operating while license suspended or revoked, $500.00 fine, seven days in jail.

Schuyler W. Mann, 26, of Rockland, operating under the influence, $750.00 fine, license suspended 150 days.

Donald W. Simmons Jr. 39, of Waldoboro, possessing lobster beyond minimum or maximum, $700.00 fine.

Andrew F. Walsh, 36, of Owls Head, out of door burning violation, $100.00 fine.

Jarrett J. Schadlich, 36, of Waterville, operating vehicle without license, $200.00 fine.

Sean Boyd, 50, of Wiscasset, operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500.00 fine, operating vehicle without license, $250.00 fine.

Kevin M. Young, 21, of Rockport, $750.00 fine, 72 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.

Cathy T. Nguyen, 19, of Camden, operating vehicle without license, $150.00 fine.

William Carter, 53, of Camden, failure to register vehicle, dismissed.
