Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND- The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Sept. 28-Oct. 2. The Unified Criminal Court is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.
Jonathan R. Achron, 32, of Friendship, possessing lobster beyond minimum or maximum, $700 fine.
Penny Backstrom, 45, of Rockland, stealing drugs, dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, dismissed; violation condition of release, dismissed.
Tyler Barter, 22, of Thomaston, criminal trespass, $250 fine.
Andrew H. Black, 52, of Tenants Harbor, operating vehicle without license, $150 fine.
Anthony J. Creamer, 23, of Waldoboro, operating vehicle without license, $150 fine, disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise, $250 fine.
Paul Davis, 29, of Bucksport, three counts of criminal trespass, seven days in jail.
Andrew G. Delano, 43, of Friendship, disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, $300 fine.
Matthew Donaher, 30, of Rockport, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, 14 days in jail; two counts of violating condition of release, 14 days in jail.
Brian K. Enright, 33, of Biddeford, smoking in a motor vehicle with a person less than 16 years of age, $50 fine.
Angela Jean Croteau Gagnon, 32, of Biddeford, two counts of trafficking in prison contraband, six months in jail.
Samuel Gimlewicz, 19, of Camden, operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.
Jess Grant, 21, of Cushing, operating under the influence, $500 fine, 48 hours in jail, license suspended 150 days.
Andrew Heath, 22, of Camden, possession of marijuana, up to 1 ¼ ounce, $350 fine.
Robert James, 45, of Rockland, criminal threatening, 120 days in jail; domestic violence criminal threatening, 364 days in jail with all but 120 days suspended, probation two years ; criminal mischief, 120 days in jail, $266.75 restitution; domestic violence terrorizing, 364 days in jail with all but 120 days suspended, probation two years, $266.75 restitution; terrorizing, 120 days in jail.
Joshua A. Keating, 24, of Cushing, failure to register vehicle, $150 fine.
Cameron Kunesh, 37, of Warren, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $750 fine.
Danielle Leland, 29, of South China, smoking in a motor vehicle with person less than 16 years of age, $50 fine.
Craig A. Luce, Jr., 19, of Warren, minor consuming liquor, $200 fine.
Shel Marcotte, 24, of Union, unlawful furnishing of scheduled drug, dismissed; unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, $400 fine, three years in prison all suspended, probation two years.
Adam McDonald, 32, of Rockland, motor vehicle speeding, 30 plus miles per hour over speed limit, $500 fine.
Christopher M. Michaud, 29, of Monroe, attaching false plates, dismissed.
Eric Moody, 39, of Cushing, operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine; failure to register motor vehicle, $150 fine.
Michael S. Myers, 37, of Tenants Harbor, cultivating marijuana, $400 fine.
Adam Niemeyer, 28, of Rockland, fishing without license, $100 fine.
David Olsen, 56, of St. George, failure to make oral or written accident report, $250 fine; operating under the influence, $500 fine, license suspended 150 days; failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, dismissed.
Kevin T. Park, 21, of Rockland, operating under the influence, $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.
Jacob A. Pascal, 19, of Union, attaching false plates, dismissed; operating while license suspended or revoked, $500 fine; violating condition of release, $500 fine, failure to register vehicle, dismissed.
Christiana B. Payor, 18, of Warren, criminal trespass, $250 fine; criminal mischief, $250 fine.
James Prescott, 38, of Union, possession of sexually explicit material of minor under 12 years, two counts, three years in prison; sexual exploitation of minor under 12 years, 10 years in prison.
Alexandra Rackliff, 25, of Spruce Head, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, $500 fine.
Ronald S. Ralph, 66, of Union, operating under the influence, no test, one prior, $900 fine, 180 days in jail with all but 12 days suspended, probation one year, license suspended three years, registration suspended.
David Reckards, 19, of Thomaston, minor possessing liquor, $200 fine.
Matthew W. Sabetta, 36, of Dixson, N.M., operating after license suspension, $250 fine; operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.
Stephen Smith, 20, of Hope, possession of marijuana up to 1 ¼ ounce, $550 fine, use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.
Melanie R. Vangel, 19, of Camden, possession of marijuana, up to 1 ¼ ounce, dismissed; use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.
Christian T. Wall, 18, of Rockland, possession of tobacco products by minor, $100 fine.
William A. Weiss, 54, of Rockland, out of door burning violation, $100 fine.
Harley Winchenbach, 23, of Waldoboro, failing to stand by for marine officer inspection, $500 fine; fishing for or taking shellfish from closed area, prior, $1000 fine.
