Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND- The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Sept. 21-25. The Unified Criminal Court is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.
Jasper Barber, 29, of Richmond, allowing minor to possess or consume liquor, $500 fine; disorderly conduct, loud noise, private place, $250 fine.
Gerald F. Borowski, 60, of Rockport, possession of marijuana, up to 1 ¼ ounce, $350 fine.
Trevor Curtis, 24, of Thomaston, criminal mischief, $250 fine.
Justin Roger Dube, 22, of Camden, smoking in a motor vehicle with person less than 16 years of age, $50 fine.
Niomi Ecker, 25, of Rockland, use of drug paraphernalia, dismissed; possession of marijuana, up to 1 ¼ ounce, $500 fine.
Anna Farley, 37, of Union, canine ordinance, $150 fine.
Jennessa Fitzpatrick, 31, of New Harbor, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $500 fine.
Michael Gibbs, 44, of Camden, domestic violence assault, 50 days in jail.
Peter E. Gibbs, 40, of Warren, assault on an officer, one year in jail.
Meredith L. Hughes, 18, of Nobleboro, operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, $500 fine.
Samuel Peter Jordan, 33, of Augusta, theft by unauthorized taking or transfers, priors, department of corrections 12 months, restitution $1581.12; violating condition of release, 30 days in jail.
Jared L. Larsen, 23, of Rockland, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $750 fine, 30 days in jail; violating condition of release, 30 days in jail.
Malcolm Libby, 26, of Waldoboro, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident, $250 fine; failing to make oral or written accident report, $250 fine.
Stephen Lord, 69, of Union, motor vehicle speeding: 30 plus miles per hour over speed limit, $400 fine.
Santanah M. MacKenzie, 26, of Rockport, N.Y., operating after habitual offender revocation, $500 fine; theft by unauthorized use of property, 30 days in jail; violating condition of release, two counts, seven days in jail; operating after habitual offender revocation, 30 days in jail.
Julie A. Nickles, 23, of Owls Head, disorderly conduct, fighting, $250 fine; disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise, dismissed.
Jason Ouelette, 36, of Hampden, reckless violation of protective order, dismissed.
Michael Papa, 24, of Richmond, allowing minor to possess or consume liquor, $500 fine, refusing to sign criminal summons, dismissed.
Christopher Pollis, 24, of Union, violating condition of release, five counts, seven days in jail.
Kendall Ross, 31, of Owls Head, trafficking in prison contraband, dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, four months in jail.
Edward Sabatino, 59, of Thomaston, failure to appear after bailed, 30 days in jail.
Faylyn Vitale, 20, of Rockland, littering, $200 fine.
Jeremy Yeaton, 34, of St. George, class one lobster fishing without license, dismissed.
