Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND- The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Court from Aug. 31-Sept. 11. The Unified Criminal Court is a system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.
Kurtis Bertrand, 21, of South Thomaston, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.
Allen W. Boody, 30, of Rockland, domestic violence assault, three counts, 364 days in jail with all but 30 days suspended, probation two years.
Joan Dow, 51, of Owls Head, possession of marijuana, dismissed.
Anthony Langille, 47, of Waldoboro, violating condition of release, seven days in jail.
Jared Long, 45, of Cushing, fishing for or taking shellfish from closed area, $300 fine.
Kurt Long, 18, of Cushing, fishing for or taking shellfish from closed area, $300 fine.
Clair Mitchell, 39, of Appleton, domestic violence assault, six months in jail; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force, six months in jail, $842.53 restitution; criminal trespass, dismissed; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, refusing to stop, six months in jail; assault, dismissed.
Travis W. Pratt, 36, of Upper Salamanca, N.Y., operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed.
Heath W. Prior, 31, of Cushing, fishing for or take shellfish from closed area $500 fine.
Jared D. Rackliff, 40, of Thomaston, fishing for or taking shellfish from closed area, $300 fine.
Nicole D. Rogers, 21, of Rockland, violating conditions of release, disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, criminal mischief, 15 days in jail; domestic violence assault, dismissed.
Wilbur E. Roman, 44, of Thomaston, domestic violence threatening, 90 days in jail.
Thomas W. Shaggy, 54, of Washington, domestic violence assault, dismissed.
Seth P. Turner, 26, of Lincolnville, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.
Allison Upham, 25, of Thomaston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $250 fine, $6 restitution.
Rachel L. Winchenbach, 33, of Warren, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $250 fine.
