Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND- The following cases were closed in Knox County Criminal Docket from Aug. 3-7. The unified Criminal Docket is a new system for processing criminal actions and certain associated civil violation actions. It is expected to increase efficiency by eliminating the duplicative clerical workload created by the current system of case transfer between the District and Superior Court by reducing the number of court appearances required to process individual cases, according to the State of Maine Judicial Branch.
Richard Drew, 28, of Windham, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.
Karen Fulbreck, 40, of Union, failure to register motor vehicle, $100 fine.
William Opper, 71, of Liberty, operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.
Douglas Robinson, 40, of Port Clyde, domestic violence assault, unlawful sexual touching, burglary, 26 months in prison; unlawful sexual contact, dismissed.
Jesse Sawyer, 31, of Rockport, engaging in activities while suspended, $250 fine.
Tyler Campbell Smith, 21, of South Thomaston, failure to register motor vehicle, $100 fine.
