Here Come De Judge. Carol Emery on the Chris Wolf Show
Ever wonder what part of the legal system handles specialized matters such as estates and trusts, adoptions and name changes, guardianship, and protective proceedings? If you thought it was Judge Judy, you’d be wrong. Instead it would be a “Probate Judge.”
On Friday, April 15, Chris Wolf’s guest will be Carol Emery, Judge of Probate for Knox County.
Judge Emery has a juris doctor degree from George Washington University. She has been Judge of Probate since July 1990.
She has also been involved in the community as board member and officer of Friends of Strand Theater; Rockland; past board member and past president, Parentworks, Rockland; past board member and vice president, Georges River Educational Foundation, Thomaston; past board member Marshall Point Light House Museum; and former volunteer counsel to the General Henry Knox Museum.
Judge Emery is married to David F. Emery and has a black lab, Argos.
If you have questions for Judge Emery, legal, about her community projects, or even Argos, feel free to call our direct show line 207-593-0013 (during show time 8-9:00 a.m.). Or email before or during the show to TheChrisWolfShow@gmail.com. If requested, your identity will not be disclosed.
