Donald Turner, obituary
UNION — Donald R. Turner, 76, passed away Sept. 18, 2015, at home. He was born Dec. 3, 1938, to Mary Winchenbach.
Donald graduated from Waldoboro High School and in 1961 married the love of his life, Linda. Donald loved to fish and was an exceptional bowler - he won some championships in the 1960s!
Donald was predeceased by his mom, Mary Winchenbach; his son, David Turner; and his daughter, Deanna Turner. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 53 years, Linda Turner of Union; his sons, Donald W. Turner and his wife, Liz, of Richmond, Va., and Darrin Turner and his wife, Autumn, of Marietta, Ohio; five grandchildren, D.J. Turner, Abbey Turner, Rebecca Collins, Cruz Richards and Claire Turner; his great-granddaughter, Lindsey Richards; his siblings, Donna Kelley and her husband, Dan, of Wolfboro, N.H., Dana Winchenbach, and Stanley Winchenbach and his wife, Katie, both of Waldoboro; and several nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Chuck Clark.
A celebration of Donald's life and cookout will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, from 1 to 3 p.m. at 146 Townhouse Road in Union.
