MONROE — Dennis Arnold Kienow, 71, of Monroe, passed away Sept. 6, 2015, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bangor. He was born June 27, 1944, in Ipswich, S.D., the son of Arnold and Mary (Getsman) Kienow.

Dennis was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He owned and operated Kienow's Refrigeration, and serviced the Central Maine area for 30 years. Dennis loved fishing in both Maine and Florida. He also enjoyed taking care of his property, but his greatest pleasure was his family.

He was predeceased by his parents and five siblings. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judy (Krienke) Kienow; his two beloved children, Holly Nealley and her husband, Ken, of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Todd Kienow and Carrie Ward of Winterport; four siblings; his grandchildren, Alan, Chaney, Mackenzie, Noah and Aven; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held and announced at a later date.
