On Saturday, June 17,  the family of Leonard Lookner cordially invites the community to attend a gathering in celebration of his life from noon to 2 p.m. at the Lookner family farm at 58 Melvin Heights Road in Camden. In the event of rain, a rescheduled date will be announced. This is a family-friendly event and children of all ages are welcome.

All are invited to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it among friends at the farm, there is ample room to spread out in the freshly cut hay field, so please bring your picnic blanket or chairs. There will be an opportunity for those who wish to share stories and remembrances to speak briefly. Small bites and beverages will be offered, and in the spirit of community, the family encourages those who wish to bring an additional dish to share among friends to do so. Guests are also strongly encouraged to bring reusable tableware for their own use, as Leonard would not want a great deal of waste produced as a result of this gathering. The family hopes that friends of Leonard’s will enjoy the opportunity to honor his life in the presence of others who loved him, at the homestead he cherished. Carpooling is encouraged as parking at the farm is limited.
