CAMDEN — There will be a winter parking ban for all downtown Camden streets, except for the Public Safety lot on Washington Street, and the 5 & Dime lot on Mechanic Street, from 9 p.m. Wednesday evening, March 1, to 6 a.m., Thursday, March 2.

According to Camden PD and Camden Public Works, in a joint statement, the parking ban is needed to allow for the safe removal of accumulated snow in the downtown area. The removal of accumulated snow is necessary to free up downtown parking and clear important drainage that prevents flooding and icing.

“Our Public Works crew appreciates your assistance in this matter, so they can safely and efficiently get out streets, parking spaces, and drains clear,” said the statement. “Thank you for your cooperation.”
