BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Dec. 15-31.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
Nov. 13 (late entry)
James K. Leathers, 51, of Brooks, was issued a summons for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon on Purple Heart Highway in Brooks.
Dec. 15
John Lavway, 54, of Appleton, was issued summonses for failure to report a crash via quickest means, driving to endanger, and violating a condition of release on Appleton Road in Searsmont.
Dec. 25
Steven Kenney, 47, of Brooks, was arrested for operating under the influence and violating a condition of release in Thorndike.
Aaron Garvey, 46, of Thorndike, was issued a summons for failure to give notice of an accident by the quickest means on Moosehead Trail in Jackson.
Dec. 26
Trapper Larrabee, 30, of Knox, was arrested for domestic violence assault, theft by unauthorized use, operating after revocation, and leaving the scene of a vehicle crash in Montville.
