Rockport Police beat: Arrest warrant, speeding, operating after suspension

    ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity Sept. 15-22. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    Sept. 16

    Mary Thompson, 52, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for failure to have insurance bond, operating without license (restriction), and operating motor vehicle more than 150 days without registration.

    Linda Bovasso, 69, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to maintain control of motor vehicle.

    Sept. 17

    Robert Mason, 26, of Hope, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.

    Jonas Sabins, 33, of Union, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after habitual offender revocation, violating condition of release.

    Sept. 19

    Robert Appleby, 84, of Hope, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to yield vehicle during green light.

    Aaron Heald, 38, of Cushing, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.

    Sept. 21

    Ly Ha, 44, of Frankfurt, was issued a summons by Officer Jim Moore for speeding 62 mph in a 45 mph zone.

    Sept. 22

    Tami Sears, 47, of Rockport, was arrested by Smith on a warrant.

    Margaret Tracy, 59, of Hope, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.

    Terrel Young, 62, of Campton, N.H., was issued a summons by Smith for operator possessing an open container in motor vehicle.

    Rodney Brooks, 57, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Smith for a seat belt violation.

    Christopher King, 24, of Brewer, was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for speeding 60 mph in a 35 mph zone.
