Midcoast Habitat for Humanity to host 7th Annual Holes for Homes golf tournament
ROCKPORT — Midcoast Habitat for Humanity's 7th Annual Holes for Homes Golf Tournament will take place Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, at Goose River Golf Club, in Rockport. The event brings together local businesses, golfers, and community members in support of Midcoast Habitat’s work to build opportunities through shelter in Knox County.
This year’s tournament is hosted by Goose River Golf Club, with Maine State Credit Union serving as the Lead Sponsor, and The Law Office of Melissa J. Reynolds, Esq. and Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation as Supporting Sponsors.
The tournament features a four-person scramble format and includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch, and prizes. Players will have the chance to win a Goose River Golf Club annual membership, rounds of golf from courses around the state, gift certificates to local businesses, and more.

“Holes for Homes is more than just a day on the course—it’s a way to bring people together to support our neighbors and help build real change,” said Tia Anderson, Executive Director of Midcoast Habitat. “Every team that plays helps make homeownership possible for hardworking families right here in our community.”
Funds raised through the tournament will support Midcoast Habitat’s ongoing projects including the revitalization of a previously condemned property on Lawn Avenue in Rockland and the launch of Compass Point, a 10-home pocket neighborhood project in Rockport.
Since 1990, Midcoast Habitat for Humanity has worked in partnership with families, volunteers, and donors to build homes, hope, and community throughout Knox County.
