CAMDEN — Camden Harbor Cruises, which operates the lobsterboat Lively Lady, is closing its second season with Free Boat Tours for Locals. Owners, Alec and Erin Brainerd and Garth Wells and Jenny Tobin want to thank the community for all the support they have received over the past two years by inviting all locals to come out for a one-hour boat ride aboard the historic Lively Lady for free.

Free Boat Tours for Locals will be offered from Saturday, Sept 27 to Sunday, Oct. 12.

Knowing that summer is a very busy time for locals and many don’t get a chance to get out on the water, Camden Harbor Cruises wishes to extend the opportunity for residents to get out on the bay. Enjoy our spectacular fall foliage, relax and experience the Maine coast.

The Lively Lady offers one hour tours departing from Camden Public Landing.

On each tour we motor between Camden and Rockport, cruising by Curtis Island and Indian Island lighthouses and giving guests the chance to look for seals and other wildlife while enjoying the beautiful foliage of the coast. The tour also includes a chance to haul a lobster trap. Kids are welcome to join in checking out the trap and even driving the boat. The tour includes free popcorn and offers a cash bar.

On Sunday mornings, Camden Harbor Cruises offers a 2.5 hour Lighthouse Tour which passes by Rockland Breakwater Light and Owls Head light as well as the lighthouses of Camden and Rockport. Tickets for this cruise are $42.

To make your reservation, visit website www.CamdenHarborCruises.com, click on the calendar day you would like to join, and enter the coupon code LOCALS to receive the discounted fare (excludes Sunday Lighthouse Tour). You may also call the Camden Harbor Cruises ticket table at 207-236-6672, or just visit them at the public landing.
