BELFAST — Despite a wintery overcast sky, the atmosphere in the Belfast Boathouse was downright jubilant Sat., Dec. 9, as the City’s annual Holiday on the Harbor Celebration took place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

A line of children and parents spilled out into the parking area as they waited for their chance at various craft tables. Among the craft offerings at the event were ornaments, which revelers could adorn with anything from glitter, bells, ribbon and other add-ons.

There were cookie creation stations where children were handed plain sugar cookies to decorate as festively as they saw fit, and a book giveaway that stretched across an entire wall. Santa Claus sat snuggled in a corner, ready to smile for pictures with his many young admirers.
