CAMDEN — The Camden/Rockport Pathways Committee wants residents to have an opportunity to review and provide input to the draft Camden Pathways Master Plan before it is presented to the Select Board for its vote to accept it. The in-person review and discussion session will be held on Thursday, May 2, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., at the Camden Rockport Middle School Cafeteria.

“While a lot of time and thought have been put into this draft, your important issues may not be adequately addressed,” said the Committee, in a news release.

The Select Board, Public Works Department and other Town entities are asked to refer to this overall plan for upgrading and maintaining the Active Transportation infrastructure, whenever opportunities arise to incorporate elements.

The Town and the Pathways Committee will also address the highest priorities when applying for funding assistance from granting agencies.

“There are far more needs than funds, so assigning priorities for limited funds is a key component in planning,” said the Committee. “Come give your input. We value it!”
