Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from April 23-27.
Garrett Alley, 35, of Rockland, operating under the influence, $750 fine, license suspended 150 days.
Daniel P. Barnes, 30, of Rockport, failing to make oral or written accident report, $300 fine.
Gregory Bedenik, 56, of Friendship, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, $250 fine, restitution $27.54.
Rosemarie Breen, 37, of Searsmont, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, five days in jail, restitution $60.27.
David E. Burton, 61, of South Thomaston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer 364 days in jail with all but 60 days suspended, probation one year, restitution $5764.71.
Leanne Cousins, 68, of Union, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, dismissed; assault, dismissed.
John N. Davee, 22, of Old Town, aggravated criminal mischief, dismissed; criminal threatening, dismissed; assault, dismissed; criminal mischief, $350 fine, seven days in jail; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, $350 fine, seven days in jail.
William G. Fowler, 39, of Union, operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine.
Paul Fuller, 28, of Warren, aggravated assault, two years in prison.
Paul S. Giansiracusa, 36, of Thomaston, theft by unauthorized taking of transfer, 30 days in jail, restitution $45.60.
Jared E. Hansen, 39, of Waldoboro, criminal trespass, 72 hours in jail; violating condition of release, 72 hours in jail.
Christopher Hildings, 32, of Vinalhaven, criminal trespass, dismissed; criminal mischief, 30 days in jail.
Kristopher A. Hillgrove, 31, of Rockland, probation violation for original conviction of burglary, 60 days in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued; violating condition of release, two counts, 10 days in jail.
Kenneth Wade Judkins, 31, of Waldoboro, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, three months in jail; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force, three months in jail; violation of condition of release, three months in jail. Judkins was arrested April 4 following a crack cocaine investigation in Knox and Lincoln counties. The arrests of another man and woman involved in the incident took place in Warren and Waldoboro.
Agents from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Midcoast District Task Force had been investigating the distribution of crack cocaine and heroin in the Midcoast by a group from New York, according to a news release from the Maine Dept. of Public Safety.
According to police, Judkins was in a Route 1 parking lot in Warren buying crack cocaine in the afternoon of April 4.
Annie T. Terrano Kehling, 32, of Hiram, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, 364 days in jail all suspended, probation one year.
Dwayne L. Knowlton, 47, of Rockland, operating under the influence (alcohol), one prior, $700 fine, 364 days in jail with all but seven days suspended, probation one year, license suspended three years; operating vehicle without license-conditions/restrictions, 48 hours in jail.
Nathaniel Massicotte, 33, of Thomaston, two counts, violating condition of release, six months in jail.
Donna Marie Maxwell, 68, of Tenants Harbor, violating protection from abuse order, 60 days in jail with all but 24 hours suspended, probation one year.
Matthew D. Pietroski, 37, of Tenants Harbor, operating under the influence (alcohol), $500 fine, license suspended 150 days.
Amanda N. Ripley, 28, of Hope, operating while license suspended or revoked, $500 fine; attaching false plates, $100 fine; failure to register vehicle, $100 fine.
Jossilyn M. Robbins, 33, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, seven day sin jail, restitution $74.89.
Suzette Robinson, 47, of Rockland, endangering the welfare of a child, dismissed; reckless conduct, $500 fine.
Vanessa M. Santarelli, 40, of Rockland, operating under the influence (alcohol)-no test, dismissed; driving to endanger, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.
Jesse M. Sawyer, 33, of Rockport, domestic violence assault, 364 days in jail with al but five days suspended, probation one year; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, four months in jail; violating condition of release, 30 days in jail.
Stacy L. Smith, 37, of Lewiston, unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine; unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, dismissed; criminal conspiracy, dismissed; trafficking in prison contraband.
Earl A. Sprague, 48, of Appleton, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail; assault, $300 fine, $300 suspended, 45 days in jail; assault, $300 fine, 45 days in jail; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force, 45 days in jail; criminal mischief, 30 days in jail; obstructing report of a crime, 45 days in jail; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, 30 days in jail.
Zachary F. Tainter, 30, of Rockland, criminal mischief, 30 days in jail; violating condition of release, 30 days in jail; domestic violence assault, 364 days in jail with all but 90 days suspended, probation one year; obstructing report of a crime, seven days in jail; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, seven days in jail; domestic violence assaults, priors.
Tainter was arrested Jan. 9 after he assaulted his mother and damaged items in the house, including a computer.
According to the affidavit filed in court by Rockland police, the victim came to the Rockland police station to report that her son had assaulted her. She walked to the police station from her home on Thomaston Street because she said her son had taken her car keys.
The woman told police that she had an argument with her son who she said was intoxicated and had just smoked spice, a synthetic marijuana, according to the affidavit.
She reported that he was standing inches from her face so she left the house to get away from him. When she returned to her home, he continued his behavior and then squeezed her hard and threw her down on the couch. He repeated the behavior twice and then allegedly took her keys.
When police went to the house, they noted that Tainter smelled of alcohol and was slurring his words, according to the affidavit.
Christopher G. Watson, 42, of Rockland, operating after habitual offender revocation, two priors, $1000 fine.
David R. Webb, 44, of Rockland, failing to license dog, $50 fine.
Daniel Wescott, 26, of Rockland, probation violation for original conviction of possessing sexual explicit material of minor under 12, two counts, 75 days in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued; failing to comply with sex offender registration act, first offense, 75 days in jail.
Wescott was arrested on June 23, 2016, following an investigation by the Rockland Police Department and Maine Computer Crimes Task Force for incidents in February 2016.
Rockland Police Detective Sgt. Joel Neal had seized computers from Wescott’s home. A search of the computers by the Maine Computer Crimes Task Force revealed multiple images and videos of children, appearing to be between the ages of 6 and 12, engaging in sexual acts with adults and other children.
Wescott was registered with the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act. (Sorna)
