Rockport Police beat: Assaulting a police officer and hospital employee, OUI
ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity June 29-July 23. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
June 29
George Millay, 38, of Palermo, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for expired license and insurance violation.
July 1
Carl Leigh, 34, of Washington, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.
Krissy-Lynne Johnson, 25, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for operating under the influence.
July 2
Robert Doucette, 63, of Union, was issued a summons by Sgt. Travis Ford for inspection and insurance violations.
July 4
Henry Cameron, no age listed, of Thomaston, was arrested by Officer Jim Moore for assaulting a medical care provider, assaulting a police officer, refusing to submit to arrest, disorderly conduct.
July 8
David Smith, 71, of Hope, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to maintain control of motor vehicle.
Daniel MacNaughton, 61, of Searsmont, was issued a summons by Smith for studded tires.
Andrew Cooper, 33, of New Harbor, was issued a summons by Smith for studded tires.
July 9
Tierra Stevens, 19, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to maintain control of motor vehicle.
Margaret Tuchmann, 22, of Portland, was issued a summons by Shaw for operating under the influence.
July 14
Stephen Bunting, 57, of Hope, was issued a summons by Smith for studded tires.
July 16
Evan Obercian, 32, of Camden, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.
July 21
Deborah Gushee, 58, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Smith for operating with a suspended registration.
July 23
Elizabeth Elwin, 56, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Smith for failure to control dog, loss of livestock.
