CAMDEN — The two candidates running for the open Camden Select Board seat will state their positions at a Candidates Forum on Thursday, June 2, at the Washington Street Conference Room. The forum will begin at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Time Warner Channel 22 in Camden and streamed live  on Town Hall streams. The forum is open to the public.

The candidates are Gian Gallace and Marc Ratner. Select Board member Martin Cates did not take out papers.

The panel will consist of Kim Lincoln, editor of the Camden Herald and Lynda Clancy, editorial director at Penbaypilot.com.

After brief opening remarks each candidate will be asked questions from the panel. A portion the forum will be open to the audience in attendance. The forum will finish with closing statements from both candidates.

The Camden Select Board elections will be held at the Public Safety Building on Washington Street between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 14.
