Camden’s Charter Commission’s second public hearing on the proposed changes to the Camden Charter will be August 18 in the French Conference Room, 5:45 p.m., and will be streamed live on the Town’s YouTube channel.

An annotated version of the draft along with a document highlighting the major revisions can be found on the Town’s website; go to the Boards & Committee section and select Charter Commission. 

There is also an email address Charter@camdenmaine.gov for citizens to submit comments and questions. Printed copies are available for review in the Town office and Camden Public Library.

The Charter Commission look forward to additional citizen feedback and input before the Commission finalizes the draft for approval at a town vote.
