Waldoboro Police beat: Threatening text messages, operating under the influence
WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 105 calls for service from March 8-14. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
March 8
Tony Thurman, 49, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Chris Spear for a violation of conditional release.
March 12
Kevin Johnston, 36, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Officer Jeffery Fuller for operating under the influence.
Sergeant Jamie Wilson is investigating a report from a citizen of the theft of two gates from a family cemetery.
Wilson is investigating a report from a citizen who reported that she is receiving threatening text messages from an unknown party.
Wilson is investigating a report from a citizen who reported that someone damaged her mailbox.
