Waldoboro Police beat: Failing to stop for a police officer, art theft, driving to endanger
WALDOBORO - Waldoboro police responded to 194 calls for service from July 27-Aug. 3. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
July 28
Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report from a resident of the theft of approximately $400 in art work from her father’s residence.
Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a report from a resident of the theft of gasoline from his vehicle.
July 29
Nathaniel Bryant, 21, of Bristol, was issued a summons by Officer Larry Hesseltime for operating after suspension.
July 30
Sergeant Jamie Wilson investigated an accident in the parking lot of Borealis Bread. Jason Gilbert, 27, of Friendship, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet sedan. Andrea Robinson, 37, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet sedan. Gilbert’s vehicle was parked at the Borealis Bread parking lot. Robinson’s vehicle was also parked in Borealis Bread, behind Gilbert’s vehicle. Gilbert’s vehicle backed from his parking spot and ran into Robinson’s vehicle.
Arnold Konecny, 33, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Thomas Bartunek for failure to stop for a police officer and driving to endanger.
Aug. 1
Dennis Adkins, 22, of Ohio, was issued a summons by Sgt. Jamie Wilson for operating while suspended under another license and failure to show proof of insurance.
Aug. 2
Dustin Kimball, 20, of Warren, was issued a summons by Officer Jeffery Fuller for failure to report accident by the quickest means.
